Originally manufactured in November of 1944 and subsequently arsenal upgraded to the M1C Sniper configuration. While in theory superseded by the more armorer-friendly M1D, the M1C served well as a primary sniper rifle in World War II, Korea, and as late as Vietnam. Blade front and peep rear sights, "DRC" windage drum, "S-A-6-51" marked barrel, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, and relief cut operating rod. The arsenal replacement stock is marked with a "P" proofmark behind the trigger guard. The M84 scope is serial numbered "15728" on the data plate, with a post-and-crosshair reticle, sliding sunshield, a rubber eyepiece, and a Griffin & Howe ring assembly numbered "3572709" on the right side. The scope mount bracket is secured to the side of the receiver with three screws and two pins and is matching numbered "3688368" to the rifle. Fitted with a Hart M2 cone flash hider and an olive drab green canvas web sling. Includes a DCM shipping box with the rifle and scope number handwritten on the partial label, DCM packing list/rifle data sheet dated December 1st, 1994, olive drab green canvas scope case, MRT "1 52" dated leather cheek pad, and a Dave McClain letter verifying the serial number of this rifle as an authentic M1C.

Exceptionally fine, retains 99% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish. The stock is very fine with a few light handling marks. The scope is excellent with 99% original blue finish, a few light handling marks, and crisp clear optics. Mechanically excellent. Included box is fine.
