Description:

Manufactured by the Bern factory of Switzerland in 1947, the last year of commercial production of the Model 1929 at Bern with production for that year starting at "77942" as found on page 56 of "The Swiss Variations" by Fred Datig. Features fixed blade front and "U" notch rear sights and Swiss "cross in shield" crest on the front toggle link. Matching serial numbers are present on the frame, rear toggle, and barrel, with "951" partials on the side plate and electro-penciled onto the extension. Barrel marked with Swiss "cross" and "Bernerprobe" proofs, "FW+" Bern proof at the rear of the frame, "GELADEN" marked extractor, and "S" marked upper safety position. Fitted with a pair of brown plastic grips and nickel finished magazine with black plastic base. Includes an "JOH. BLASER/SATTLER/BERN/06" marked brown leather holster.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 95% arsenal refinished blue finish with light edge wear, faint spotting on the frame, and crisp grip checkering. The holster is very fine, with some light scuffs and supple leather. Mechanically excellent.
