Beaded blade front sight, two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight, and German style claw mounts on the matted solid rib which is marked with the maker's name and address in gold and bands of gold inlay at the breech. Shotgun chamber measured 2 1/2 inches with extractor and choke constriction of .025 inches. The casehardened sidelock action displays attractive scroll engraving and features a Greener style safety, cocking indicators (left absent), dual single set triggers, and tang mounted selector. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, casehardened steel cartridge trap, rear sling swivel, and horn grip cap and buttplate. With an Ajack 4x scope (mounts do not mate with mounts on the rib) and a leather scope case. Length of pull 13 15/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 2 oz.

Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish, 99% original gold, and 40% original case colors with the balance a fine grey, and light handling evidence. There is a crack off the rear of the left lockplate, otherwise the wood is very good with some dings and scratches, worn checkering on the forend, and crisp checkering at the wrist. Scope has clear optics. Mechanically excellent.
