The blued action displays Winchester 21-5 pattern engraving with attractive scrollwork around a trio of game scenes depicting a pair of pheasants on the left, a pair of mallards in flight on the right, and a setter with a pheasant in its mouth on the underside. The lower tang is marked "Grade 5 5 of 7" in fine script indicating its place in the set. The gun features a single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Highly figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Winchester Rider in the inscription oval and a checkered bare butt.
