Manufactured in 1997 as one of 500 revolvers engraved in the style of the classic Colt Master Engravers. The revolver displays floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background on the barrel, ejector rod housing, front sight, frame, and shoulders of the trigger guard. The top of the ejector rod housing and left side of the frame feature wavy line motifs, and a starburst on the ejector rod housing. The back strap, butt, and front of the trigger guard and bow have an intertwining line motif. "COLT" is engraved and highlighted in blue enamel at the top of the back strap. "L.D. NIMSCHKE G.YOUNG/C. HELFRICHT R. KORNBRATH" is inscribed on the butt. Fitted with a pair of horn grips with Colt medallions. Includes Colt blue box and original shipping carton.
