Manufactured in 2001. The revolver displays 75% coverage floral scroll engraving on a punch-dot background as well as the "SASS" serial number prefix and "Dr. John Bass" on the back strap. The inscription on the back strap is likely the name of a previous owner's SASS persona. Matching serial numbers, sans prefix, are found on the frame, triggerguard, and back strap with partial serial number "188" on the front of the cylinder. With original shipping carton and Colt blue box. Its mate serial number 20188SASS is also in the previous lot.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks, a faint cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Box is excellent.
