Manufactured in 2012 and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver John Adams Sr. The included Adams & Adams letter confirms the special serial number, caliber barrel length, black powder frame, C+ grade Nimschke style engraving, grip material, and nickel finish when completed on October 3, 2012. The letter further remarks this is the first in a series of only 25 guns engraved as a tribute to Louis D. Nimschke. The front of the frame has John Adams Sr.'s "ADAMS" signature. Also included is the original shipping carton with end label listing the special serial number, a Colt blue box and a set of hard rubber grips.
