The included factory letter indicates this revolver was shipped with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in 45 LC, blue finish, and wood stocks to the John Jovino Company of New York City on February 13, 1968, with another gun in the shipment. The John Jovino Gun Shop was the oldest running gun shop in the United States before it closed down in 2020. Features the standard blade front and notch rear sights, the top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, and the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The two line, three patent dates marking on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. The two-piece replacement grips are smooth walnut.

Excellent overall retaining 97% original blue finish and case colors with some minor handling evidence and a light cylinder drag line. The very good replacement grips are ill-fitting and have minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
