Action manufactured circa 1915-1917. Sporter weight barrel with an integral rib. Under the barrel is marked "9, 167020, standing man, crown, crown / N 7,8mm". Front sight is "KING" marked with a brass bead. The rear seat has a filler block. The side flats in front of the chamber are scroll engraved. The matted rib is marked "J.P. SAUER & SON". The 5A Lyman scope has Lyman mounts on target blocks. The paneled coil spring takedown action has a modified striker breech block (no visible hammer), single set trigger and a custom tang safety, Model #103 tang sight. All action parts are casehardened. The pistol grip extra fancy American black walnut stock is the early Schuetzen pattern with an ebony inlay in the checkered grip, shadow line cheekpiece, nickeled Swiss buttplate. The custom schnabel tipped forearm is checkered.

Near mint as custom made with 99% blue and 80% casehardening color on the action parts. Excellent finish on factory buttstock with a few slight handling marks. Finish on replacement forearm is excellent. Excellent single post reticule optics. Writer cannot recall ever seeing one of these.
