A collaborative project between Winchester and John M. Browning, this was the first single shot rifle put out by Winchester, and some consider it to be the best of its class. This rifle was manufactured in 1910. The sights have been removed and a filler block installed in the rear slot, and the barrel is marked "3" on the underside as well as "22H 1 in a triangle, 37". It is equipped with a Unertl 1 1/2 inch varmint scope, number 68708. Single set trigger with combination guard and lever. Smooth Schnabel tip forearm with ebony insert and checkered pistol grip stock with right handed cheekpiece and Swiss hooked butt.

Custom refurbished, with most of the dull custom blue finish remaining. There are a few light handling marks and scratches. The stock is very good with light dents and dings, and a few small areas of varnish loss. The scope is very good and the action is excellent.
