Full octagon Winchester marked barrel with a Lyman combination front sight and a blocked dovetail cutout for the rear sight. The bottom flat under the forearm is marked ".22 10 MAYARD XLCF / .226 GROOVE DIAMETER" and "VP" in an oval. Mounted on the upper tang of the casehardened receiver is a Marbles spring loaded adjustable peep sight. The cast pistol grip action has a single trigger, and loop lever. Checkered select English walnut schnabel forearm and pistol grip stock with casehardened steel buttplate.

Custom refurbished and rebuilt, with 90% of the blue and casehardened finishes. The barrel has some smooth edge wear, along with some dings and scratches. The casehardening colors are bright and vivid. Stock is near mint, with some varnish loss around the forearm checkering, and a few light scratches and pressure dents. Action is excellent.
