Manufactured circa' 1915-1917 Dovetail blade front and buckhorn elevator rear sights on medium weight part-octagon barrel. Marked under the forearm with "VP" in an oval and "03 RF." Casehardened thick side low wall action with standard features. Checkered schnabel forearm and custom pistol grip stock with a fine feathered pattern and a Swiss butt.

Bear mint as custom refinished, with most of the current blue and superb casehardening colors. The barrel has a number of scratches and dents, mostly covered, along with some light wear around the barrel. The receiver shows some fading to gray at the breech. Stock is near mint, with some fill-in between it and the frame. Action is excellent.
