Nice example of a Stevens Walnut Hill rifle that has been rebarreled with a straight taper medium weight barrel in 22 Hornet. The bottom of the barrel is marked "4/15/59 VMH" It has no fixed sights, and the barrel has been fitted with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5 x 20 scope on a Redfield mount. Standard three line markings on the left side of the casehardened receiver. Smooth pistol grip stock with quick release swivels, brown leather sling, and a checkered metal buttplate.

Near mint as custom refurbished, with nearly all of the blued and color case hardened finish remaining. There are a few minor handling marks on the barrel, and bright casehardening colors on the on the receiver. The stock is good, with scratches, dents, and varnish wear. The action needs work (the hammer won't stay at full cock) and the optics are excellent.
