Approximately 2,000 of the large frame model were manufactured from 1868 to 1880. The barrels have no visible markings. The barrels are full fluted with a sliding double edge dirk in the center section. Brass frame, blue barrels, spur trigger and bird's head butt with smooth grips.

About good. The barrels are a dark patina with scattered light rust and pitting. The brass is pleasant dark aged patina. The grips are good overall, the left panel is split down the middle and when removed separates, otherwise remains on the pistol. There are a few scattered light dents. The center pin is frozen in the barrel.
