Marked "VICTORIA" on top of the barrel near the center and "PAT. APR. 6 1878" on the left side of the barrel below the name. Unusual with rifled barrel instead of smooth bore. The hammer screw is a replacement. The shoulder stock is missing. An adjustable rear sight is mounted on top of the frame. The anchor logo at the top of the grip indicates that it was made by Thomas Ryan.

Very good with half nickel remaining on the barrel and cylinder, mixed with light surface rust and pitting. The frame has a gray patina, also with light surface rust. The grips are fine, mechanically needs work.
