Standard markings for this series of gold decorated rifles. Adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, checkered high gloss forearm with a steel forearm tip, checkered high gloss pistol grip stock with a metal grip cap and crescent buttplate. Top tang safety. The receiver is engraved with a floral design and on the left in gold inlays a grizzly bear over its kill in a mountain scene and the right side are two bears and a moose in gold inlay in a wooded scent. Both sides of the receiver are bordered in gold inlay. The front of the lever and the hammer are also florally engraved. Only 1000 of these rifles were ever produced with the gold accents on the receiver and this is Number 10 in its original box. It came from the Peter and Patty Murray collection. They were able, through personal connections at the factory, to get serial number 10 of each new issue of special rifles.
