Scarce Walther Mod PPK Automatic Pistol with the "PDM/115" (Polizei Direktion Munchen) marking and serial number on the left side of the frame. The pistol has the "Dural" frame with bottom magazine release that is characteristic of PDM Model pistols. The pistol has the high polish Walther pre-war finish and checkered, brown plastic wrap around grips. The slide has a 90 degree safety lever and has a cartridge indicator pin. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther Banner followed by the two-line factory legend and caliber and the designation "Mod PPK". The serial number, "899115", is marked vertically on the right side of the frame. The PDM serial number, correctly, incorporates the last three digits of the pistol serial number. The Walther Banner is present on the left side of the magazine base above the brown plastic finger extension. The "Crown/N" commercial proof is stamped on the right side of the slide below the ejection port, of the right side of the chamber and on right side of the barrel at the muzzle.

Excellent (with exception noted below). Approximately 95% of the original finish remains with wear on the muzzle end and right rear of the slide and rear of the frame, high edge wear and flaking on the front strap and right side of the frame. The blue on the chamber of the barrel is worn and the blue finish is mixed with smooth gray. The grips are very good with a minor repair on the top left and scattered light handling marks. All markings are clear. A nice example of a scarce and desirable Model PPK variation.
