This is a nice example of a pre-War Walther Mod. PPK pistol with unknown "I.G./N.20." hand stamped in two lines on the left side of the frame behind the trigger. The pistol has the standard Walther commercial blue finish. Wraparound grips are brown plastic with checkered panels and the Walther Banner at the top. The magazine is blued with brown plastic grip extension and Walther Banner marking on the lower left side. The serial number is marked vertically on the right side of the frame. The right side of the barrel is stamped with the commercial "crown/N" proof marks on the chamber and muzzle. A "C/N" proof is stamped below the ejection port. The left side of the slide bears the Walther Banner followed by the factory legend and caliber in two lines and the model designation. This pistol has been checked to insure the hand scribed number found inside the slide matches its serial number.

Very good, with 85% of the original finish remaining. There is some smooth edge wear concentrated towards the front, along with a few small areas of brown patina and some light handling marks. The grips are very good, with a small crack near the screw on the right side. Action is excellent.
