Description:

The Army Officer's white summer dress jacket is an unlined, white cotton jacket that has pebble finished silver buttons. The silver wire Lieutenant's shoulder straps have the intertwined script letters "GD" (Gross Deutchland) pinned to the center. A silver Army National Eagle and Swastika insignia is attached to the right breast above the pocket. An Iron Cross ribbon is sewn to the jacket's second button hole. Two ribbon loops are sewn above the left pocket. The jacket is not identified. The Luftwaffe Pilot summer dress jacket is an unlined white summer dress uniform with Luftwaffe silver-plated 1936-1945 Pilot's Badge attached to loops on the left pocket. The back of the badge is stamped with the maker's hallmark. The jacket has an Iron Cross medal ribbon attached to loops over the left pocket. The silver wire shoulder straps have yellow piping and a single 1st Lieutenant's pip. There are loops over the right pocket to attach the Luftwaffe National Eagle and Swastika Insignia but the insignia has been removed. All of the pebble finished, dull silver, buttons are intact. The jacket has no interior markings or visible identification. A scarce pilot's summer dress jacket with desirable silver Pilot's Badge.

Rating Definition:

The Army Officer's summer dress jacket is in very good condition. The white fabric has some storage discoloration and there are stains on the collar. The Luftwaffe Pilot's jacket is in fine condition and shows very little wear.
