Very good example of a mid-War Walther P-38 pistol. All matching numbers. The left side of the slide is marked with the model, serial number, and "ac 43". The right side has the swastika firing proof next to (not between) two of Waffen "eagle / 359" proofs. The "eagle 359" proof is repeated on the left side of the frame and lug. All markings are highlighted in white. The grips are serrated dark brown plastic with lanyard staple, and the magazine is marked "P.38" with an "eagle/ 359" on the spine .

Very good. 80-85% thinning blue overall. The slide and barrel both retain 90% original war time finish with wear along high edges and surface scratches. The rear of the frame and grip strap are now bright. The grips are very good with some scratches and blemishes.
