This is a pre Colt Sharps single shot rifle made in the 60s/70s by the Sharps Arms Co. of Hartford, Conn. Medium sporter weight barrel marked "SHARPS SPORTING RIFLE, CALIBER 243 WIN". Made without iron sights, modernized Borchardt type action with breech block safety, Canjar single set trigger. Extra fancy American black walnut sporter stock with an engraved 4 cartridge trap, and rubber rifle pad. Fleur de lis checkered pistol grip and forearm. Leupold 3-9X scope on factory base and Redfield type rings. In molded plastic factory hard case numbered to the rifle with "SHARPS RIFLE" marked cases of cleaning rod tips/brushes, wiping cloth, patches --lub and screwdriver adj. kit. With leather sling and cleaning rod.
