Custom heavy varmint weight barrel made without sight seats. With a lyman junior target spot 6x scope on lyman mounts. Barrel marked "NO. 1409 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK / 22 MAGNUM" on top and marked "IS" on the bottom. Paneled coil spring pistol grip action with a single set trigger. Custom checkered pistol grip stock with a horn grip cap, swivel stud, checkered steel buttplate with trap. Custom checkered forearm.

Very fine as custom embellished and built with 98% satin blue finish. Stock and forearm have good finish with light handling marks and some oil staining. Repaired crack on left side of upper tang. Excellent optics. A fine Griffin & Howe varmint rifle chambered for a 22 mag that appears to be a 22 Krag wildcat.
