Description:

This is a very nice unaltered example of a Swiss Model 1929 Luger. Grips are a red colored checkered plastic. The magazine has a tinned body with correct red colored plastic bottom and is Swiss "P" marked on the bottom of the spine. The Swiss Geneva Cross in a shield is located on the front toggle link. The serial number "56306" is located on the top of the barrel step, the rear toggle link and the left side of the frame behind a + over "M" in a square. The right front of the frame is Swiss release stamped "P.43". The Geneva Cross proof mark is stamped on the underside of the barrel. It is complete with an early brown leather flap holster with two belt loops and two rings at the top, (one in front, the other in the rear), for a strap that is marked with the maker around "04" and another faint mark above it between the belt loops.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. Approximately 98% of the original finish remains with overall light high edge wear, and some discoloration on the top and right side of the barrel extension. Light overall handling marks are present also. The grips are in new condition. The holster is with scattered scuffs and stains usually associated with a holster of this age. All the stitching is tight.
