Manufactured in Canada, and based off of the Browning High-Power. Dovetail front sight and 500 yard tangent rear sight on slide. The barrel, slide, and frame are all numbered on the right side in a stack, the slide is marked " MK. 1*/ BROWNING-F.N. 9MM HP INGLIS CANADA" on the left, and the frame is marked with the crossed flag acceptance proof and the Canadian "Broad Arrow in C" marking. The rear of the frame is marked on the right with Chinese characters and issue number "0977", the butt of the gun also has Chinese markings. The front grip strap is importer marked "Ridgefield NJ". The grips are checkered black composite, with a lanyard ring mounted on the butt, and the backstrap cut for a shoulder stock. Magazine is 13 round double stack. Complete with wood stock manufactured in Canada, marked "S.A. LTD./1945" at the wrist, and ZL&T. LTD. on the canvas strap. Included is previous sale documentation from 2000

Very good as professionally refinished with 95% blued over original parkerized finish remains showing only slight edge wear, scattered scratches and dings, with some finish over pitting which has turned purple in color. The grips and stock are excellent with only minor pressure dents an scratches.
