The commercial "crown / N" is marked on the under side of the barrel, left side of the chamber and left side of the toggle link. The magazine has a plated body and wooden bottom with "GERMANY" stamped on the bottom. Approximately 5,500 of these Lugers were manufactured for commercial sale in Germany or other counties.

Rating Definition:

Near excellent. The pistol retains approximately 90-95% of the faded original blue finish with light wear on the muzzle, high edges and front strap. There is some light spotting on the top of the chamber and grip straps. Approximately 70% of the straw colors remain. The grips are fine with a couple of minor dents and dings, little wear to the checkering which for the most part remains crisp. Markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
