Description:

1) Fine Two Gray Hills rug, 60 inches long, 30 inches wide, cross and diamond pattern in black, white and gray. Tightly woven, excellent condition. 2) Old Mexican Pound blanket, 42 inches long, 31 inches wide, gray and brown rug with large brown Thunderbird in the center, red and yellow eye. Loose fringe on both ends. Very good. 3) Unidentified red, brown, white and blue rug. 24 inches wide, 32 inches long, tightly woven with 5 inch fringe on each end. Lead seal dated 1882 an one side. Shows some wear in center. 4) Similar rug, 48 inches long, 32 inches wide, appears to be woven in sections and stitched together. Some runs and soiling, also has lead seal. 5) Fine Ganado Red Navaho Rug. Very fine, tightly woven rug with basic red background and patterns of black, white and gray. Excellent. 6) Fine decorated Bronze age axe head, 10 inches long, 3 inch blade and 2-3/16 inch flattened poll. With paper label identifying Troyes, France as the source. 7) 5-5/8 inch bronze spear head, 2 inches wide from same source. Very heavy. 8) 5-13/16 inch spear point, 1.1 inches wide, thin with fastening hole. 9) 4-1/2 inch gimlet or awl. All are excavated with considerable corrosion. 10-12) Three prehistoric flint blades, average 5 inches long. All fine. 13-18) Beaten copper decorative items with punched holes for fastening. Caddoan-Mississippian. Two appear to be cats, one bat, one fish, one snake and one pinwheel. Corroded and folded. With paper label for source in Louisiana. 19) Aztec copper money, bell shaped, 6 1/4 inches long.
