Description:

1) Large ornately beaded moccasins in Northern Plains style. Overall length is about 11", with an actual size of about 9". The white background beading is extreme lazy stitch with 15 or more beads in some strings. The geometrical design is done in maroon, light blue, yellow, black, and dark blue beads. There is considerable restoration, mostly with white beads. Late 20th Century. 2) Reproduction Indian gun stock war club with a body that measures approximately 27" in length, the blade measures 5-1/2". The body of the club is adorned with brass tack patterns. 3) Unidentified fighting knife. The double-edge blade measures 10" with "Philippines" hand cut into the blade. Leather washer handle with brass guard and iron pommel cap. 4) Modified butcher knife with unmarked blade measuring 8-1/2". Two piece walnut handle with gambling insignia inlays of a spade on the right with a heart and two dice on the left all done with ivory. The handle and blade have small separation. 5) 6-3/8" deeply curved butcher blade mounted with an animal rib handle and a crossguard made from a large U.S. penny dated 1877. The hilt is decorated with three carved bands and a carved "US" with an eagle in between. Complete with a brown leather sheath with leather fringe. A note with the knife says it is an Indian scout knife dating to the 1870's.

All items rate good to very good. All blades show a mottled gray patina with scattered moderate pitting.
