Standard "PAT. FEB. 2. 92. - FEB. 4. 96. / BABY HAMMERLESS / PATENT PENDING" marking on the top strap. The sides of the frame and the entire cylinder are engraved. The frame is silver plated, the cylinder gold washed. The original cardboard two piece box is the earliest style with almost black paper covering. The white paper label on one end identifies it as a "No 51" revolver.
