Lee Arms Co. was in Wilkes-Barre PA, J.Frank Lee made many spur trigger revolvers under different names, seldom with the company name. The round sideplate on the left side of the frame is an identifying feature. Marked "RED JACKET NO 4" on the top of the barrel. All other features standard.

Excellent with 95% nickel and casehardening colors turning dark on the hammer. The grips show slight wear at the high spots. Mechanically crisp.

The red Jacket series of spur trigger revolvers was made by Lee Arms Co. of Wilkes Barre, PA. The .22 caliber is the rarest of the series. Note that this one is marked only "RED JACKET" with no number.

About good with half of the nickel on the cylinder, mostly gray patina elsewhere. The varnish on the grips is lifting but all is still attached. The action is fine.

Very few unmarked Lee Arms Co. are found.

Fine with 90% varnish overall. The grips are fine, retaining over half of their varnish. Mechanically fine.
