Marked "COLUMBIAN AUTOMATIC PAT. PEND. / NEW YORK ARMS CO." on top of the barrel rib. These five shot top break double action revolvers were made by Columbian Fire Arms Co. of Philadelphia for New York distributors H. & D. Folsom, who used that name on many of their firearms.

Excellent with 90% nickel overall. The grips and action are excellent.

Marked "THE NEW YORK ARMS CO. / COLUMBIAN / PAT. JAN. 20. 91" on the topstrap. The patent date and the scroll decorations in the ovals at the top of the checkered hard rubber grips identify this revolver as one of the products of the Columbian Fire Arms Co., successor to Foehl & Weeks and using their patents. Columbian was only in business for a couple of years. This is one of their later revolvers, made for a New York distributor, H. & D. Folsom, who used the New York Arms Co. mark on many of their products.

Fair to good, retaining about 80% of its peeling renickel finish. The grips are sharp. Works fine double action, will not stand at full cock.

Marked "ANDREW FYRBERG & CO. WORCHESTER, MASS. U.S.A. / PAT. APL.D FOR" on top of the barrel rib, "SRC" monogram at the top of each grip for Sears, Roebuck & Co. Fryberg was the sporting goods department manager for Sears and the revolvers were made under his name by Iver Johnson. Five shot fluted cylinder, blade front sight and notch in the barrel catch rear sight.

Excellent with 95% nickel on the frame, barrel, and cylinder, 80% blue on the triggerguard, and 80% casehardening colors on the hammer and trigger. The grips are fine. The action is excellent.
