This is the semi-automatic version of the famous Thompson submachine gun. This version was discontinued in 1986. Equipped with fixed sights, detachable 50 drum magazine, horizontal forearm, pistol grip with finger grooves, and plain buttstock with metal trapdoor buttplate. Sling swivels are found on the forearm and buttstock. The left side of the receiver is marked "MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO. 4510" and "THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE". The right side is marked with the 12 patent numbers.

Excellent. The carbine retains 99% of the original blue finish with some edge wear and light scuffs and scratches. The wood is excellent with only a few minor pressure dents on the pistol grips.
