Beautiful pre-ban/ pre H&K CETME rifle. This is a early production rifle that was manufactured in Spain by the CETME corporation and imported in the US in the 1960-70s. This was originally based on the German design and was a predecessor to the H&K series of assault rifles. The side of the receiver is marked 'MADE IN SPAIN / Exclusively for MARS Equipment Corp. / Chicago 45 Illinois U.S.A.." It has the four position flip rear sight, wooden buttstock and forend, green web sling, integral Weaver style bases, a scarce five round magazine, four original steel 20 round magazines, and a rare original military telescoping bipod.

Excellent, 98% plus original finish remains with only scattered light scuffs and scratches. The wood is excellent. Super condition early pre-ban rifle.
