Description:

4-9/16 inch spear point blade with 1 inch return on the top edge. Marked "WILL & FINCK" in an arc above "S.F.CAL" on the left ricasso (Marking looks very good but not guaranteed). Silver hilt with vestigial cross guard the same size as the scabbard throat and three inch paddle shape mother of pearl scales attached with four silver rivets. The silver sheath conforms to the shape of the blade and has a 2-1/2 inch belt loop marked in a straight line "WILL & FINCK" over "STERLING." The blade has not been sharpened.

Rating Definition:

Strong traces of silver plating on the right side of the blade but mostly soft gray patina. The silver hilt has considerable blue tarnish. The pearl scales have fine color and flash. The scabbard has some shallow dents and considerable tarnish in protected areas.
