Rating Definition:

1) Very good plus. The blade is free of any rust and pitting and shows some small scattered areas of minor discoloration. Approximately 50% of the silver finish remains on the handguard with the remaining area a smooth aged patina. The handle is excellent with light marks and crisp checkering. The sheath is fine with moderate wear on the edges and the upper stitching on the loop is loose, remaining stitching is tight. 2) Very good as cleaned with even pin prick pitting and a large etched area on the left side. There is a very small chip on the tip of the blade and it remains very sharp. The handle is worn smooth on the right side. The sheath is very good plus with some moderate wear on the edges.
