This is a production target rifle as manufactured by the Birmingham Small Arms Company of England. The top of the barrel is marked "Birmingham Small Arms Company England" with the correct British proofs at the rear of the barrel. Many of these rifles were imported and sold by Al Freeland of Rock Island Illinois whose reputation and products were known around the world. All of the accessories for this gun were made by Mr. Freeland and were known for their outstanding quality. Included are the scarce 50 foot and 100 yard tube sights, palm rest, handstop, butthook and adjustable recoil pad. All is packed in a Freeland hinged metal case with paperwork showing the purchase of some of the Freeland products and some old match date handouts.

Excellent, 90% plus bright original finish with scattered light scratches and scuffs, and minor edge wear. The stock is near excellent with scattered scratches, scuffs, and dings.
