Casehardened with two levers and trigger, serial number 10002 on lower tang. May be missing some parts.

Excellent with 60% of the casehardening colors remaining mixed with smooth gray patina. Both levers have a smooth gray patina.

Blue with breechblock, serial numbered 107413, patent date on the upper tang and Winchester proof on top of the action. May be missing some parts.

Very good. Approximately 50% of the bright blue finish remaining, the remainder has been cleaned bright.

No markings, finished in the bright. Excellent. One 30 1/2 inch part octagon 30 40 caliber heavy barrel marked "J. STEVENS A / CHICOPEE FALLS MASS U.S.A. PAT", numbered 4678, finished bright. Very good with some light discoloration and spotting. One small nickel schuetzen style buttplate. Very good as re-nickeled with some minor nickeled over pitting. One brass and one steel small schuetzen style buttplates. One a smooth gray patina, the other a nice aged patina. Three walnut stocks, one straight grip 12 7/8 inches, no buttplate, very good, sanded, light scattered dings, straight grip 13 1/2 inches with nickel Schuetzen style buttplate, excellent, light marks and a pistol grip 12 1/2 inches, brass schuetzen style buttplate and cheek piece, very good, light marks and scuffs. One 8 1/4 inch walnut forearm with schnabel tip, very good with some tape residue and a small crack on the left front. Miscellaneous Stevens Model 44 parts including a steel checkered blue buttplate, eight levers, thirteen blocks, two hammers, springs and screws. All items fair to good with some light spotting.
