This an exquisite custom made and custom engraved bolt action rifle with a Mauser action. The barrel is manufactured without sights. The breech end of the barrel, sides and top rear of the receiver, floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are all nicely scroll and punch dot engraved. The hinged floor plate also has a gold relief mountain goat in a mountain scene and the trigger guard has "RCS" in gold relief. The left side of the barrel at the breech is engraved "CUSTOM RIFLE FOR / DR. RUSSELL C. SMITH / BY A.L. KNIGHT GUN SHOP" and the right side is engraved "ENGRAVED FOR / DR. RUSSELL C. SMITH / BY MCTEER & AGEE". The top of the barrel is engraved "300 H & H MAG". No other markings are visible on the gun. The extractor, bolt release, bolt and follower are all jeweled. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The bolt is flat on the bottom with checkering. The one piece pistol grip stock is a beautiful tiger stripe maple with fine checkering on the forearm and wrist with an ebony forend, cheek piece, steel checkered buttplate and sling swivel studs. Reportedly it's believed that this is the only known rifle that Cole Agee engraved.

Custom embellished/refurbished. The rifle retains 99.5% of the custom blue finish with the slightest handling marks. Except for a couple of very minor dings, the stock would be near mint. An exceptionally nice custom built, custom engraved bolt action rifle.
