Signed "TED WILLIAMS" in front of "MODEL 53* CAL. 30-06 SPRG. / SEARS ROEBUCK & CO. 8 NO. 273.532081 * MADE IN U.S.A." on the upper left side of the barrel. There were made for Sears by Winchester. They are the same as the Model 70. The leather sling is unmarked.
