Floor plate release located in trigger guard. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with black plastic grip cap with Ruger logo, red rubber Ruger recoil pad and sling swivel studs.

Excellent. Barrel and action retain approximately 99% finish overall and show very little signs of finish wear and only slight handling marks. The wood is very good with several minor marks and dings overall mostly to the underside of the stock.
