The model 43 was produced by Winchester from 1949 until 1957. This particular rifle features a hooded front ramp sight with a Lyman 57A micrometer sight mounted at the rear of the receiver. The Lyman 57A was an option for the deluxe variation of this model. The rear sight dovetail contains a filler block. Standard barrel markings with the two Winchester proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver. Also features a detachable box magazine, sling swivels and a polished bolt. One piece smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered metal buttplate.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish remaining with some light muzzle and high edge wear. The Lyman peep sight is excellent with sharp markings and only minor high edge wear. The wood is excellent with only minor handling marks.
