Introduced in 1933 in an attempt by Winchester to solve the problem of having to use a special .22 caliber cartridge in the gun to operate the blowback system. Featuring a dovetail front sight with polished bead, adjustable sporting rear sight, and a BSA 22 Special 4x32 scope with unmarked rings on the grooved receiver. Left side of the barrel is marked "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE/ SUPERSPEED & SUPER-X" next to the Winchester trademark. Smooth fancy walnut pistol grip stock and forearm with a metal forend cap, and checkered steel butt plate with magazine tube.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish, showing a few minor handling marks overall and traces of varnish on the receiver and forearm tip. Stock is very good as freshened, with minor pressure dents. Optics are clear and the action is excellent.
