Good, with some scuffing and lost stitching. 2) Two pocketbooks, sewn binding with green cloth covers. Excellent. 3) Binoculars, with rubberized canvas case with shoulder strap. Good, with chips in the eyepieces, wear on the pouch and cloudy lens. 4) Aluminum mess kit, with inner cup and brown finish. Very good. 5) Canteen, with metal body, wood plug, brown paint finish and canvas carrier/ shoulder strap. 6) Two reproduction K-98 slings. Excellent. 7) Two ammunition pouches, one leather, one rubberized canvas. Very good and fair, respectively. 8) One sword cleaner, red cloth and light blue string. Very good. 9) Brass dog tag, with neck strap and leather cover/ silencer. Very good, with a fine patina and light cracking on the cover. 10) Sake cup, showing a squad with horns and colors. Very good. 11) White armband with Japanese writing. Very good with some wear and staining. 12) Leather backed black cloth shoulder board with gold stripe, anchor button and two blossoms. Excellent. 13) Japanese "meatball" flag, white silk with black Japanese writing. 26" x 38". Very good. 14) As 13, 27" x 30". Fair, with holes and staining. 15) Japanese headband, white, 36" long, with rising sun in the center. Excellent. 16) Japanese field telephone, with aluminum and hardwood body. Good, with scratching and scuffing on the exterior. 17) Japanese meatball flag, 26" x 31". Very good. 18) Two reproduction Honolulu Star-Bulletin newspapers for December 7, 1941. Very good, with some tattering around the edges. 19) Two propaganda leaflets, one announcing the German surrender, the other for dropping on occupied islands. 20) Bank note from "The Japanese Government" for "One Hundred Pesos". Very good. 21) Asian coin. Good. 22) Japanese Type 90 helmet, brown with metal star and leather pads. Good, with paint loss and heavy spotting. 23) Type 90 helmet with new liner and repainted, gray with leather pads marked "OBERG" and chinstrap. Very good. 24) Arisaka bayonet, 15 inch blade with unknown arsenal mark and smooth grips, numbered 56258. Good, with some spotting and wear. 25) Nagoya Arsenal "last ditch" bayonet, 15 1/2 inch blade, rectangular cross guard, smooth grips and numbered "13811" on the back. Good, with wear and spotting.
