Vent rib barrel with two ivory beads, choked full, 2 3/4" chamber with ejector. Gold inlaid crown on top of the break lever. The left rear of the barrel is marked "MANUFACTURED BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. FULTON, N.Y. "and "L.C. SMITH CROWN TRAP" on the right side. The action is casehardened with fine scroll engraving with two setters in a field scene on the left side and two pointers on the right side. There is a 1 1/4" wedge of scroll engraving on the breech end sides of the barrel and a simple border around the muzzle. Extra fancy walnut pistol grip stock with extensive fleur-de-lis checkering and punch dot, engraving on the forearm hardware, metal grip cap and red rubber vented Hawkins recoil pad. Complete with a copy of an L.C. Smith catalog.

Partially refurbished/refinished. The barrel and trigger guard have been refinished and retain almost all of the current blue finish. The action, forearm hardware and break lever have a smooth lightly cleaned unrefinished gray patina. Some of the barrel markings have been re-engraved/remarked. The wood is near mint as refurbished with only the slightest handling marks and sharp checkering. The engraving is clear. Mechanically fine.
