Blade front sight and folding two leaf rear sight on heavy matte rib, which has a smooth section marked "ALEXr. HENRY Ltd MAKERS TO HER MAJESTY/ EDINBURGH AND LONDON" and a fine Damascus twist pattern on the barrels. The casehardened action and hammers are decorated with tight scroll engraving and the left and right locks have banners reading "ALEXr. HENRY" and "EDINBURGH", respectively. Checkered pistol grip stock with engraved steel furniture, splinter forearm, black hard rubber grip cap, sling rings, a fine striped pattern on the buttstock, and a solid London Guns rubber recoil pad.

Very good, with 30% of the original brown finish. A mixed gray patina and moderate spotting and pitting is visible on most of the surface, and the Damascus pattern is solid, with a few areas of brown patina and minor handling marks. Traces of the original casehardening pattern remain on the water table, with a smooth lightly pitted silver patina visible on the outer surfaces. Stock is very good as repaired and refinished, with a mended chip on the grip, a few minor chips and moderate scratches, and scattered pressure dents. Action is good.
