Blue barrel, brass frame and smooth two piece grips. The top of the barrel is marked "MARK III" followed by "THE REMINGTON ARMS-UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. INC. / REMINGTON BRIDGEPORT WORKS-BRIDGEPORT CONNECTICUT. U.S.A.". Complete with an ordnance catalog of parts and equipment from the Ordnance Department, Washington D.C. ink stamp dated January 13, 1943 on the back. The catalog covers this model and the Harrington & Richardson M-5 (B in this lot).

Excellent. The barrel retains 95% of the original finish with some minor dings. The brass has an aged patina. The grips are very fine with a few minor dings on the right panel and overall a few minor handling marks.

The top of the barrel is marked "PISTOL, VERY, 10 GAGE, M5 / HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO / WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A." and the right side is marked "PAT PEND". The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES / PROPERTY" over the crossed cannons marking and "155". "155" also appears on the left side of the barrel lug. The left side of the frame is marked "NOT INTERCHAGEABLE" over a stamped "BOL". Fitted with a one piece grip with checkered sides and back and lanyard ring on the butt.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% of the original blue with a few minor dings, some light spotting and crisp markings. The grips are excellent with a couple of minor dings and crisp checkering. Seldom found in this condition.
