Description:

It features the standard blade front sight with the early two position folding rear sight. The rear of the receiver is marked "ROCK-OLA" behind the rear sight and again on the short upper tang while the front of the receiver is marked "US CARBINE/ CAL 30 M1" and the front of the barrel is marked "ROCK-OLA". It is fitted with the early "I" cut low wood version stock, marked on the right side "RMC" next to the crossed canon cartouche. It is complete with a blued fifteen round magazine marked "R-C" on the back and an original green GI canvas rifle case marked "US".

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished then subsequently restored to original specifications with most of the aforementioned parkerized finish remaining and a few minor dings on the top of the barrel. The wood is excellent with very light pressure dents and handling marks. All of the markings are clear and crisp. The canvas case is excellent.
