The Model 52 Sporter was manufactured by Winchester from 1934 until 1958. This particular rifle features a hooded front bead sight on a commercial blue barrel with an adjustable Lyman peep sight mounted over a matte blue receiver. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address, proof steel, trade mark, model and caliber markings with the two line address and trade mark on the right side of the receiver. The two Winchester proofs are stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver. Other features include single shot adaptor, quick release sling swivels, detachable magazine and a polished bolt. Complete with a one piece select walnut checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with a raised cheekpiece, checkered steel buttplate, hard rubber grip cap, and plastic forend tip.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish remaining. The wood is excellent plus with a few surface scratches on the left side of the forearm and only minor handling marks overall.
