Receiver is factory roll engraved on both sides with very fine scroll engraving, frontier scenes and a decorative border. The right side has a picture of a large standing grizzly bear, an early Frontiersman trading with Indians, and a picture of rattle snake and beaver. The left side has an early Mountain man on horseback leading a pack of mules. Also has a large winged eagle swooping in on a running animal. The extra fancy walnut stock and forearm have a nice checkered Fleur-de-lis pattern. The receiver and forearm cap are antique satin finished. Barrel is also marked "Legendary Frontiersman". The buttstock medallion depicts a frontiersman and Indian fighting. Complete in picture box numbered to gun and papers.
