This saddle ring carbine has a satin finished receiver that is factory roll marked on both sides with fine scroll engraving and a chain border pattern. Both sides have the names of John Wayne's more famous movies listed at the edges just inside the border engraving. The right side shows John Wayne on a cattle drive, and the left side has a full stage coach scene from his 1939 movie "Stagecoach". The barrel bands and large lever loop are also satin finished. The forearm and buttstock are semi-fancy walnut with standard checkering and a medallion showing the bust of John Wayne inset on the right side. The receiver tang shows Wayne's signature and the barrel is marked "JOHN WAYNE COMMEMORATIVE". Complete in original foam box with Winchester commemorative picture sleeve, leather saddle ring thong, hanging tag and original sales receipt. Included is a brown leather saddle scabbard manufactured by Bianchi with "WINCHESTER/MODEL 94/JOHN WAYNE COMMEMORATIVE" on the throat under the Winchester rider.

New in box condition. The foam box is excellent with the end label very good with slight yellowing from the adhesive backing, all information is clear. The picture sleeve is excellent with only minor wear on the edges and ends. The scabbard is near new condition with no wear marks visible.
