Made in December, 1978, this carbine is beautifully scroll engraved on both sides of the brass receiver. The right side shows wolves pursuing an elk while the left depicts a buck and two doe in the woods, done in deep relief. The lever and hammer are also nicely engraved. "Limited Edition II by Winchester" adorns the barrel in gold lettering. Fixed front sight and adjustable rear buckhorn barrel sight. Fine checkered forearm and straight buttstock with a semi-crescent buttplate. In original shipping box with a walnut presentation case with blue velvet lining and Winchester cardboard box with paperwork.
